Tropical Depression 5 Forms in Far Eastern Atlantic

From our News Partners at WCBD-TV:

Tropical Depression FIVE is a little better organized Thursday morning as it heads west northwest across the far eastern Atlantic.

"Number five will strengthen over the next day or two but will likely meet the same fate as its predecessors as it encounters dry air in about 3 or 4 days," said Storm Team 2 Meteorologist Josh Marthers.

If TD Five gains storm strength, its name will be Erin.
