Governor tackles hurricane preparedness

Monday, Gov. Nikki Haley, along with state and local officials, will tour the state to discuss hurricane preparedness. The group will make stops in Horry, Charleston, and Beaufort Counties.  One stop will include the Emergency Operation Center in North Charleston.

Gov. Nikki Haley will be accompanied by  Mike Russell, Chief of Plans for the South Carolina Emergency Management Division; Dick Jenkins, State Traffic Management Engineer for the Department of Transportation; Robert Woods, Commander of the South Carolina Highway Patrol Traffic Management Unit
