From our News Partners at WCBD-TV:

Summerville fire crews are working to put out a fire at Westbury Mews Apartment Complex at 1425 Trolley Road in Summerville.

Dispatch says they first responded to the fire at 12:45 Monday morning. Crews are still working to douse the flames.

The American Red Cross is on scene and says more than 20 people are out of their home, including 19 adults and 5 children. The Red Cross is working to determine if those who are displaced have a place to stay, and how they can help.

The Red Cross says the fire broke out in a 12 unit building and 11 of those units were occupied. All 12 units have some sort of fire, smoke or water damage.
