From our News Partners at WCBD-TV:
CHARLESTON, SC - A Charleston daycare closed its doors Thursday without any notice.
Parents who took their kids to Children's Nook on Clement Ferry Road scrambled to find a way to care for their children and dozens of teachers were left without a job.
Just last week, dozens of teachers at the daycare asked questions about sudden policies:
Several parents claim they went to confront management and instead of getting answers, parents say they were asked to pull their children out of the daycare.
Teachers were assured about their job security and children's safety on Wednesday and say they were cold-heartedly kicked out today.
One parents told News 2 "people got phone calls from either teachers who worked here that had cell phones of the parents. Some parents had other parents that they know of that they called and said hey, it's closed, what are we going to do..everybody is in a panic scrambling for care."
That parent also said, " it's very very sad because there's families who have been here. Eight, nine years multiple children having amazing experiences, writing amazing reviews -- and it was wiped out in a week."
